Urban Pigeon Micro-Mosaic Necklace – Animals in Urban Spaces Collection

A familiar face in the urban landscape, captured in miniature.

This unique, handmade micro-mosaic necklace celebrates one of our most recognisable city dwellers: the humble pigeon. Created using individually hand-rolled polymer clay threads, the design brings a pigeon's head into focus within a round brass bezel, set against the textured backdrop of a brick wall and scattered dandelion weeds.

Every tiny thread is carefully placed to build up the image, transforming an everyday urban encounter into a miniature piece of wearable art. The intricate mosaic is sealed with a matt varnish, giving the surface a subtle, understated finish.

The pendant is suspended from an 18-inch gold-plated brass chain with a lobster clasp, adding a warm golden accent to the detailed artwork.

Part of the Animals in Urban Spaces collection, this piece celebrates the overlooked beauty of urban wildlife and the small pockets of nature that flourish amongst our streets and buildings.

• Pigeon portrait created from individually hand-rolled clay threads
